One control surface, one knob

The whole control layer is a single track above the stage, eight pixels tall, with one white knob at the balance point between the two girls. It is not two competing bars. Chat is a real input, not decoration. Her lines run in her own colour, gift lines name the sender, and typing at her is how you get answered on camera.

What a viewer cannot influence

None of the following is available, and it is better to know before you spend than after.

• Free text commands. There is no field where you write an instruction she must perform. Direction means funding a side, not phrasing a request.
• The clock. Five minutes is five minutes. No amount of spending extends a duel or rewinds a vote you missed.
• Who is on stage. The pairing is drawn for you. You choose between the two girls in front of you and cannot swap in somebody else mid duel.

The timer tells you how much control is left

There are exactly three states on the timer pill and each is a different instruction. A neutral pill reading VOTE means the window is open and cheap weight still moves the knob. The same pill switching to FINAL VOTE means the heaviest spender is about to take the beat, and late roses barely register. When it fills solid pink and reads SHE PERFORMS, voting is over and you are watching the consequence.

The honest ceiling on control

At the top of the board, in a quiet room, with the final vote window open, one person can effectively decide a beat. That is the maximum and it is temporary, because the next duel resets the board.
